The purpose of this oral health report is to highlight the status of the oral health of third (3rd) grade children in Georgia who participated in the 2011 Georgia Third Grade Oral Health Survey. The survey also collected measurements of height and weight. Results are available in the

This summary report presents the most current information available on the oral disease burden in Georgia including data from the Georgia Head Start Oral Health Survey, the Georgia 3rd Grade Oral Health Survey, Georgia Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), and the Georgia Comprehensive Cancer Registry (GCCR).

Analysis of Access to Dental Care Service Trends and Patterns CY2000/SFY2001 through CY2005/SFY2006, December 2006 Report
This report produced the latest update available with calendar year (CY) 2005/state fiscal year (SFY) 2006 Medicaid claims data analysis of services provided to Medicaid and PeachCare (SCHIP) enrolled children under age 19. Retrospective analyses of service trends and patterns from CY2000/SFY2001 through CY2005/SFY2006 are provided to document progress made in providing oral health access to care for low and middle-income children, and to illustrate continuing challenges. The presented results provide useful information to state and local oral health providers and advocates for program planning and decision-making.
