Collaboration

IPP collaborates with other child passenger safety (CPS) advocates throughout Georgia to strengthen CPS programs statewide. Collaborative activities include:

• Serving on the Georgia CPS Board and communicating with other CPS advocates about information beneficial to Georgia's overall CPS program.
• Co-teaching CPS certification courses and facilitating CPST recertification.
• Educating staff from other state programs/agencies on basic CPS principles and IPP's child occupant safety initiatives.
• Increasing awareness of CPS issues throughout the state by exhibiting at conferences for healthcare professionals and/or health-related events for the public.
