Family Voices
To encourage the active participation of families within Title V programs, Family Voices has collected materials developed by states that support family involvement in MCH (Maternal and Child Health) and CSHCN (Children with Special Health Care Needs) programs. By building upon existing materials and models, families and states can strengthen family involvement in their own programs.
University of Alabama MCH Milestone Information
A web-based, multi-volume history of MCH and public health in the United States. Developed by the MCH Leadership Skills Training Institute at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Maternal and Child Health, with support from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, HRSA, this visual and narrative presentation chronicles milestones from 1792 to the present and highlights in its timeline significant MCH and public health achievements, momentous political/social events, and landmark legislation, programs and policies related to the health and well-being of children and families.
