Manual for On-site Sewage Management Systems
This manual was prepared to serve as a technical reference guide for the siting, design,
permitting, inspecting, and trouble-shooting of on-site sewage management systems that fall
under the jurisdiction of the Georgia Department of Human Resources and local county Boards
of Health. The rules and regulations govern on-site sewage management systems operated
independently of municipal, community or large privately-owned sewage treatment systems.
