    This handbook created by the Georgia Folic Acid Task Force has useful information for parents and professionals, including: a brief description of neural tube defects and the role of folic acid in prevention; instructions for obtaining a Deeming Waiver which may assist parents with the financial aspect of obtaining medical care for a disabled child; and a list of agencies to assist care givers in finding a wide variety of resources for children with special needs.

  • Public Reporting for Past Fiscal Years 
    As required by Section 619 of the IDEA, the Annual Performance Report (APR) data is reported by Early Intervention Program.

    Submitted to the United States Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs in January 2006. This table reflects the number of infants and toddlers being served by Babies Can't Wait as of December 1, 2005 as well as the total number served from July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005.

    Submitted to the United States Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs in October 2006. This table reflects the settings in which infants and toddlers received early intervention/Babies Cant’ Wait services. Settings data is reported by age and by race/ethnicity for children receiving services as of December 1, 2005.

    Submitted to the United States Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs in October 2006.
