Free Day in the Parks: Your State Parks Day

58 locations across Georgia's State Parks & Historic Sites are offering
free parking and admission on Sept. 29 as part of National Public Lands
Day. Sponsored by Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites, the
celebration brings attention to the ways parks enrich communities and
the importance of local volunteerism. Choose from activities ranging
from trail maintenance to lake cleanups.

cannot give blood, we also need 10 volunteers who will each work an
hour shift on the day of the blood drive helping at the registration
desk or the canteen (no prior experience needed).
