Pickens County Schools Adopts Tobacco-Free Policy

As of Aug. 9, Pickens County Schools (Dalton Health District) joined the growing list of school districts that have adopted the 100% Tobacco-Free Schools model policy. Pickens County is number 87 out of the 181 school districts in Georgia. With the addition of Pickens County, there are now 1,192,870 students, including school administrators in Georgia, protected from the dangers of exposure to second hand smoke.
