free parking and admission on Sept. 29, as part of National Public Lands
Day. Sponsored by Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites, the
celebration brings attention to the ways parks enrich communities and
the importance of local volunteerism. Choose from activities ranging
from trail maintenance to lake cleanups.
