GTA and
DPH to Offer Online Ordering of Birth/Death Certificates
 The
Georgia Technology Authority has partnered with the Department of Public
Health to offer online ordering of birth and death certificates. One of
the target audiences is parents needing birth or death certificates when
applying for health services. As a part of the awareness campaign, GTA
would like to display posters and cards in the health departments
throughout the state.
The service is called Request Official Vital Event Records (ROVER).
Many health departments have already received their shipment of
collateral and should have stated their display of the materials on May
4.
A second shipment of posters and cards should arrive about mid-May.
Health departments are asked to display the posters and table tent cards
in their high traffic areas. The 4"x6" cards are takeaways to be
displayed near the posters and tent cards. GTA recommends that health
department staff use two-sided foam tape to mount the initial set of
posters.
If you are health department staff and have questions about the service
or the collateral, please contact Gina Brunson at
gina.brunson@gta.ga.gov or (404) 682-8612
