Word: Make style changes to similarly formatted noncontiguous text

Want to change the format of 10 different chapter headings scattered throughout your document? Instead of searching through the document and finding each one to change individually, use Word's “Select Text With Similar Formatting” to select and change all at once. For example, to change all chapter headings to a blue font color, follow these steps:

Right-click the first chapter heading text.
Select "Styles" and then "Select Text With Similar Formatting" from the shortcut menu -- all items with the same formatting will now be selected.
On the Formatting toolbar, click the Font Color drop-down list and select blue.
