Csukas Named MCH Director

Please join Commissioner Brenda Fitzgerald, MD, in welcoming Seema Csukas, MD, PhD, in her new, expanded role as Interim Director of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) at the Department of Public Health (DPH). Dr. Csukas begins her work immediately. Having most recently served as MCH's Medical Director, Dr. Csukas replaces Brian C. Castrucci who is leaving DPH to join the non-profit sector.

Mangla to Work with Academia

Please join us as we welcome Anilkumar T. Mangla, PhD, MS, MPH, in his new role as DPH's Director, Academic Relations and Research. As DPH moves forward, we will look to increase publishing efforts and improve and build upon our relationships in the academic community. Dr. Mangla will be working not only in these areas, but also as a departmental liaison to education and academia.
